Master Boots, Real Guess and Brandy were slow to begin.
Bit Mad checked off An That approaching the first turn. Bit Mad, Master Boots and Real Guess collided on the first turn checking Master Boots and Real Guess. An That galloped on the heels of Cedric Diggory approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Bit Mad and After collided approaching the home turn. Bit Mad and Brandy collided in the home straight. Bit Mad eased in the home straight and collided with Cedric Diggory as a result.
Bit Mad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D.Tallentyre, the trainer of the greyhound Bit Mad. Stewards deemed the performance of Bit Mad unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Bit Mad must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
