Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Daniliuk, the trainer of So Vivacious regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. So Vivacious last raced on 3rd June, 2015. Mr. Daniliuk stated that So Vivacious is returning to racing after injurying it's right stopper bone.   

Wise One was a late scratching at 6:30PM due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. V. Roz was fined the sum of $100. 

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 1 and a half minutes to hold for an interstate gallops event. 

Izzy Go and Alyssa's Girl were quick to begin. Cheryl's Boy and Crackerjack Choc were slow to begin.

Cheryl's Boy checked off Alyssa's Girl approaching the first turn checking Crackerjack Choc. Customized and Izzy Go collided approaching the home turn checking Izzy Go. 

Our Rebel, Giroud, Evening Major and Syd's Memory collided soon after the start checking Giroud. Taz's Man and Syd's Memory collided approaching the first turn. Our Rebel and Evening Major collided approaching the first turn checking Evening Major and Giroud. Evening Major, Syd's Memory and Giroud collided on the first turn checking Giroud. Our Rebel checked off Taz's Man approaching the home turn checking Syd's Memory and Giroud. Gia raced wide on the home turn checking Taz's Man and Master Bekim. Gia and Master Bekim collided in the home straight. 

Parsnip was slow to begin.

Caco Potion, Texta Arandt and Dream Edition collided soon after the start. Parsnip and Texta Arandt collided approaching the first turn checking Texta Arandt. Caco Potion, Dream Edition and Cosmic Spur collided on the first turn checking Dream Edition, Talanjee Stiff and Where's Dex Star. Caco Potion and Cosmic Spur collided approaching the home turn checking Caco Potion. Texta Arandt checked off Dream Edition approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Borg, the trainer of RedHot Pursuit regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. RedHot Pursuit last raced on 2nd September, 2015. Mr. Borg stated that Redhot Pursuit is returning from racing after sustaining a fracture to it's right tibia.

A pre race sample was taken from Connemara Black.

Rack Tap Rack was quick to begin. 

Halt checked off Connemara Black on the first turn. 

Halt was vetted following the event and revetted following race 6. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a strained right achilles. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Samples were taken from Rack Tap Rack (1st), Redhot Persuit (3rd) and Halt (4th). 

Bush Rebel was slow to begin.

Flash Focus, Black Pontiac and Macey Blue collided approaching the first turn. Jack Winter and Wise Maple collided approaching the first turn checking Jack Winter. Flash Focus, Black Pontiac and Wise Maple collided approaching the first turn checking Black Pontiac. Ernie Old, Wise Maple and Velvet Hammer collided on the first turn checking Velvet Hammer which collided with Jack Winter. Black Pontiac, Jack Winter and Velvet Hammer collided on the first turn. Black Pontiac checked off Jack Winter on the home turn checking Velvet Hammer. Flash Focus and Bush Rebel collided on the home turn. Bush Rebel and Ernie Old collided approaching the winning post. 

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 3 minutes to allow track staff to remove a hare which was situated on the infield of the race track. 

Phaser Bale and Morson Senor collided soon after the start checking Morson Senor. Fizzy Bale, Magic Success, All Over and Zulu Retreat collided soon after the start. Zoe and Bush Courage collided approaching the first turn. All Over checked off Zulu Retreat approaching the first turn checking Fizzy Bale. Zulu Retreat checked off Zoe on the first turn. Morson Senor and Bush Courage collided on the first turn. Zoe, Morson Senor and Zulu Retreat collided approaching the home turn checking Zulu Retreat and All Over. Fizzy Bale and Zulu Retreat collided approaching the home turn checking Zulu Retreat. 

Zulu Retreat was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Papa Shim and Who's That Chap collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Cam, Who's That Chap and Papa Shim collided approaching the first turn checking Who's That Chap. Papa Shim and Jimmy Who collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Harlem Shake and Hermoso collided on the first turn. Papa Shim and Jimmy Who collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Crackerjack Cam raced wide on the home turn. Harlem Shake and Tail Pipe collided entering the home straight. Tail Pipe checked off Harlem Shake approaching the winning post. 

She's Vivacious was slow to begin.

Senor Laurie and Just A Taste collided soon after the start. Blue Westmead crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Pretty Boy Grigg, Just A Taste, Senor Laurie and Quarrel Bale. Allen Malik and Just A Taste collided approaching the first turn. She's Vivacious, Pretty Boy Grigg and Senor Laurie collided approaching the first turn checking Pretty Boy Grigg and Senor Laurie. Quarrel Bale, Just A Taste and She's Vivacious collided on the first turn. Just A Taste and She's Vivacious collided approaching the home turn. Senor Laurie raced wide on the home turn. 

Trainer Ms. G. Ennis approached Stewards after she initially had some concerns with Lorimer Lad in that it appeared to be in some form of distress prior to this event. Lorimer Lad was examined by the Club's Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. 

Burn Early was quick to begin. Lorimer Lad was slow to begin.

Jive Time, Chevsta and Calahan Rocks collided on the first turn checking Chevsta and Calahan Rocks.

Little Hemi was quick to begin. Rangler Bale, Casino Star and Bide Time were slow to begin.

Sunny Aura and Cape Cruiser collided soon after the start. Rangler Bale and Casino Star collided approaching the first turn. Goodnight Skye, Sunny Aura and Cape Cruiser collided on the first turn checking Goodnight Skye, Sunny Aura and Rangler Bale. Who Told Lindylu, Little Hemi and Cape Cruiser collided approaching the home turn checking Little Hemi. Cape Cruiser raced wide on the home turn. Little Hemi checked off Casino Star on the home turn and raced wide in the home straight. 

Little Hemi was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Kid Audacious was quick to begin.

Nila Bale, Jack's Jet, Bursting Flames and Ronray Spirit collided soon after the start checking Jack's Jet and Bursting Flames. Inventor checked off Noonbarra Joe on the first turn. Noonbarra Joe and Nila Bale collided on the first turn and again on the home turn checking Nila Bale. Nila Bale checked off Bursting Flames entering the home straight.

A pre race sample was taken from Good Odds Sammy. 

Lektra Oscar and Sunny Breaks collided soon after the start. Lektra Blicavs, Tommy's Terror and Dyna Zeek collided soon after the start. Don's Licker and Good Odds Sammy collided soon after the start. Good Odds Sammy checked off Hisagi Bale on the first turn. Sunny Breaks, Don's Licker, Lektra Blicavs and Dyna Zeek collided on the first turn checking all greyhounds. Sunny Breaks and Lektra Blicavs collided approaching the home turn. Sunny Breaks checked off Lektra Blicavs on the home turn. Don's Licker checked off Dyna Zeek on the home turn. Dyna Zeek and Lektra Blicavs collided entering the home straight checking Sunny Breaks, Lektra Blicavs and Dyna Zeek. 

Lektra Blicavs was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Acting on Steward's observations it was established that Lektra Blicavs cramped over the concluding stages of the event. Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Gibbons, the representative of the greyhound Lektra Blicavs. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
