Iroquois Hope checked off He's Worthy approaching the 300m mark. Mayfeather crossed to the rail at the 300m mark and collided with Iroquois Hope as a result. Iroquois Hope and Mayfeather collided at the 150m mark, severely checking Iroquois Hope. He's Worth and Pure Zest collided at the 100m mark.
Iroquois Hope was vetted following the event and after being revetted following race 7, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right groin and abrasions to the stopper pads, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
