Stewards spoke to Mr. R Eades, the trainer of Bold Bling regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bold Bling last raced on 22nd July, 2015 and is returning to racing after recovering from a right hock injury and a subsequent change of trainer.  

Smiley Girl and Ima Lara Lass were slow to begin.  Beluga Diamond and Lloyd Christmas collided soon after the start.  Bold Bling and Little Missy collided approaching the 250m mark.  Dodge The Speed and Lloyd Christmas collided at the 250m mark.  Little Missy and Bold Bling collided at the 250m mark, checking Ima Lara Lass.  Midori Miss and Dodge The Speed collided several times from the 250m mark until the 50m mark, checking both greyhounds.  Midori Miss, Dodge The Speed and Beluga Diamond collided at the 50m mark.  Smiley Girl and Ima Lara Lass collided at the 50m mark.

Gardot was slow to begin.  Wandella Magic and Coli's Girl collided soon after the start.  Atlas Roughhead and Jodal collided soon after the start, checking Jodal.  Coli's Girl and Our Lilly collided at the 250m mark. Shrek's Cosmic checked off Callaway at the 250m mark.  Jodal checked off Shrek's Cosmic at the 200m mark.  Gardot, Wandella Magic and Coli's Girl collided at the 150m mark, checking Callaway.  Wandella Magic, Coli's Girl and Our Lilly collided at the 100m mark.  Jodal and Shrek's Cosmic collided several times from the 50m mark until the winning post.  Gardot and Wandella Magic collided approaching the winning post.

Jodal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right front sesamoid, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  After viewing the head on recording of this event, Stewards took no further action.

Shrek's Cosmic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Indigo Bruna was a late scratching at 11.14am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness (elevated temperature and mild dehydration). A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. P Kennedy, trainer of Loaded Musket declared a new weight of 34.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Loaded Musket last raced at 33.1kgs.

Loaded Musket was slow to begin and collided with Bluehawk Burst soon after the start.  Nev Time and Ima Terror collided soon after the start.  Bluehawk Burst checked off Loaded Musket soon after the start.  Loaded Musket, Bullbar Rheen and Black Zuma collided approaching the 300m mark.  Black Zuma checked off Loaded Musket at the 300m mark.  Nev Time and Shakey Benz collided at the 150m mark.  Bluehawk Burst and Black Zuma collided at the 100m mark, checking Black Zuma.

Black Zuma was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right chest, right shoulder, left wrist and grazes to the right calf, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Iroquois Hope checked off He's Worthy approaching the 300m mark.  Mayfeather crossed to the rail at the 300m mark and collided with Iroquois Hope as a result.  Iroquois Hope and Mayfeather collided at the 150m mark, severely checking Iroquois Hope.  He's Worth and Pure Zest collided at the 100m mark.

Iroquois Hope was vetted following the event and after being revetted following race 7, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right groin and abrasions to the stopper pads, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Pure Zest was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey msucle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

This event was rescheduled to commence at 1.29pm due to thunderstorm activity in the area.  As a result, all remaining events will be put back by 1 race.

Master Phelps and Dr. Peter collided soon after the start.  Master Phelps and Pappa Gallo collided approaching the 300m mark.  See Him Go crossed to the rail approaching the 300m mark and collided with Wild Douglas, checking Wild Douglas and Dr. Peter.  Dr. Peter checked off Pappa Gallo at the 100m mark.  Master Phelps raced wide throughout the event.

Nunya Tron crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Blazing Apache, checking Blazing Apache.  Call Me Hank and Dr. Don crossed to the rail at the 300m mark.  Saahd checked off Dr. Don and collided with Dr. Phil at the 150m mark.  Dr. Phil raced wide throughout the event.

Terrorizer and Hard Merchandise collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark, checking Hard Merchandise.  Two Tone and Surf Jester collided at the 200m mark, checking Surf Jester.

This event was rescheduled to commence at 2.21pm.

Have A Tinnie was slow to begin.  Black Senor and Swans Eleven collided several times from the 150m mark until the 50m mark.  Black Senor checked off Swans Eleven at the 50m mark.

This event was rescheduled to commence at 2.38pm.

Extradition, Turbo Longstride, Shifty Joshua and Rockin' Rhonda collided soon after the start, checking Turbo Longstride, Shifty Joshua and Rockin' Rhonda.  Magpie Lily and Telling Lies collided at the 150m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G Guy, the trainer of Meatball regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Meatball last raced on 1st September, 2015 and is returning to racing after a change of trainer. 

This event was rescheduled to commence at 2.56pm.

Nitro Injected was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Cullquin Bomber and Meatball collided soon after the start.  Magic Sorcerer, Zipline Marjen and Shifty Lilly collided soon after the start.  Magic Sorcerer and Ava's Angel collided at the 250m mark.

This event was rescheduled to commence at 3.13pm.

She's Fullboar was slow to begin.  Lunchless and Snaphook Sticka collided several times from soon after the start until the 100m mark, checking Snaphook Sticka.

Following the event She's Fullboar displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS). As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound displayed clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria. No stand down penalty was imposed.

Stewards spoke to D Knocker, the handler of She's Fullboar and advised him that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.

This event was rescheduled to commence at 3.30pm.

Boofa Jack and Turbo Injected were slow to begin.  Dr. Balboa and Virtue collided soon after the start.  Jukebox Hero and Virtue collided approaching the 300m mark.  Boofa Jack and Turbo Injected collided at the 300m mark, checking Boofa Jack.  Jukebox Hero and Carlanna Lois collided at the 150m mark.

Boofa Jack was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Starter, Liz Schulze, regarding the start of this event and reminded her that all collars and leads are to be removed prior to calling greyhounds to the boxes.  Stewards referred this matter to Club Management for further action.
