Zoenah's Legacy was slow to begin. Concrete Level went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Out Of Alcatraz and Merl's Angel collided approaching the first turn. Chezzy Allen, Allen Unther and Mrs. Kash collided approaching the first turn checking Allen Unther and Mrs. Kash. Zoenah's Legacy contacted the running rail on the first turn. Out Of Alcatraz and Merl's Angel collided approaching the home turn severely checking Out Of Alcatraz.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Merl's Angel became dislodged during the running of the event.
Zoenah's Legacy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Out Of Alcatraz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to its left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
