Minotaur went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Victor Dora was slow to begin.  Paula Bale and Yuffie Bale collided soon after the start. Minotaur, Jack The Fipa and Yuffie Bale collided on the first turn.  Yad Mai and Victor Dora collided on the first turn severely checking Minotaur and Yuffie Bale. Paula Bale and Yad Mai collided approaching the second turn.  Paula Bale and Jack The Fipa collided on the second turn causing Jack The Fipa to stumble and lose considerable ground as a result.

Paula Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Destini Fortress and Still In Play were slow to begin.  Fipa Narchi, Sweet Candy, Cha Ching Ching, Sixty Three, Tink Allen, Mepunga Georgia and Destini Fortress collided soon after the start checking Sixty Three.  Cha Ching Ching and Mepunga Georgia collided entering the front straight.  Sweet Candy and Sixty Three collided in the front straight.  Cha Ching Ching, Mepunga Georgia, Tink Allen and Still In Play collided on the second turn.  Cha Ching Ching checked off Mepunga Georgia in the back straight severely checking Still In Play as a result.  Cha Ching Ching checked off Sixty Three approaching the home turn.

Sixty Three was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound had a dry cough.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Katlin and Alcyone were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Diama Bale crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Buca Doll.  Alcyone and Buca Doll collided in the back straight.  Alcyone checked off Katlin on the third turn.  Nick Bale and Katlin collided on the home turn.

Flash Intention and Back On Lava were slow to begin.  Larico and Blue Murray collided on the first turn.  Blue Murray and Aston Chanel collided on the second turn.  Flash Intention, Larico and Denarau collided on the second turn.  Flash Intention checked off Denarau approaching the third turn causing Flash Intention to fall.  Aston Chanel and Queen Yuna collided in the back straight.  Aston Chanel checked off Denarau on the fourth turn checking Larico.

Flash Intention was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Ginger Menang, Switch Girl and Crackerjack Kack were slow to begin.  Little Ferret and Ginger Menang collided soon after the start.  He's Clever and Prime Suspect collided on the second turn checking He's Clever.

He's Clever was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left hamstring and right triangle muscles.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Helen Baxter, Kirabilli Myrtle, Sea Fever and Sunday Sess were slow to begin.  Helen Baxter and Sea Fever collided on the first turn and again in the back straight.  Helen Baxter checked off Kirabilli Myrtle on the third turn checking Sea Fever.  Roll 'Em Missy and Lil Tay collided approaching the home turn.

Whisper Troy and Indi Allen were slow to begin.  Ann's Moment and Astrology collided soon after the start.  Josie Rumble, Hollywood Jones, Astrology and Indi Allen collided on the first turn.  Hollywood Jones and Astrology collided on the third turn.  Hollywood Jones and Indi Allen collided several times on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Ann's Moment eased approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Wild, the handler of the greyhound Hollywood Jones and issued him with a warning for failing to wait for the Starter's instructions when boxing the greyhound for this event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. H. Clark, the representative of the greyhound Ann's Moment regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Ann's Moment was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to its left hind metatarsal.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the Stewards charged Ann's Moment with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Clark pleaded guilty to the charge  Ann's Moment was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Whisper Troy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained sand toe to its right hind toe.  No stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race (carpark) sample was taken from Faithful Hill.

On Edge was slow to begin.  Draculette, Faithful Hill, Barn's Delight and Bluey Fields collided soon after the start.  Draculette and On Edge collided approaching the second turn.  Faithful Hill, Barn's Delight and Adelaide Bale collided on the home turn.  Barn's Delight checked off Adelaide Bale in the home straight checking Coo Coo Coconuts.

On Edge was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right sartorius and right triangle muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Big Cold Burst and Swing Arm were slow to begin.  Crackerjack Shak went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Kaycee Sprinter crossed to the inside soon after the start and collided with Fool Proof.  Apex Pro, Blackpool Chuck and Kaycee Sprinter collided soon after the start.  Apex Pro, Blackpool Chuck, Kaycee Sprinter and Swing Arm collided approaching the first turn.  Fool Proof and Crackerjack Shak collided on the first turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Swing Arm checked off Apex Pro approaching the home turn.  Big Cold Burst and Kaycee Sprinter collided on the home turn.  Swing Arm tired over the concluding stages of the event.
