Dyna Irminus and Connemara Xav collided soon after the start, checking Connemara Xav. Eaton Bale checked off Mahogany Saphire approaching the first turn. Dyna Irminus, Mahogany Saphire and Gunnewin collided on the first turn, checking Gunnewin, Eaton Bale and Sokyo. Connemara Xav, Eaton Bale and Gunnewin collided in the back straight, checking Eaton Bale. Eaton Bale and Gunnewin raced wide in the home straight.
