Steward's Report
Billy Congo was slow to begin. Marodo and Dyna Yavin collided soon after the start. Dyna Yavin and Rosie Sprite collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Quizzical and Miss Gracie collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Yavin, Rosie Sprite and Ginger Speed collided on the first turn checking Rosie Sprite, Ginger Speed fell as a result. Marodo galloped on the heels of Cove Alight on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Dyna Yavin was held up for a run approaching the home turn. Cove Alight and Marodo collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight checking Cove Alight.
Cove Alight was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the right metatarsals. No stand down period was imposed.
Ginger Speed was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left metatarsals, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
