Steward's Report
Allen Lottery, Quaint Bale and Ready Jet Go collided soon after the start checking Allen Lottery and Quaint Bale. Tanner's Ace, Margi's Girl and Willowvale Hawk collided soon after the start checking Tanner's Ace and Margi's Girl. Willowvale Hawk and Moonlight Cruise collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Moonlight Cruise, Margi's Girl, Quaint Bale and Tanner's Ace collided on the first turn, checking Moonlight Cruise and severely checking Quaint Bale and Tanner's Ace. Ready Jet Go and Yeates Bale collided several times approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds which raced wide as a result. Ready Jet Go and Tanner's Ace collided in the home straight.
Ready Jet Go was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triceps and right thigh, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
