Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Bouchier, the trainer of English Lady regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. English Lady last raced on 21/4/15. Mr. Bouchier stated that the greyhound had been recovering from a split webbing. Mr. Bouchier also declared a new weight of 28.5 kgs of the greyhound. English Lady last raced at 27.0 kgs.

Stewards were given a letter from the handler of Over Limit Mr. B. Finn on behalf of trainer Mr. G Rounds regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts, as Over Limit had not stared since the 9th of May, 2015. Mr. Rounds had stated that the greyhound had been recovering from a hock injury.
