Zigstar and Be Two Bomber were slow to begin. Big Barking Bert crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Be Two Bomber and Zigstar. Immortal Dream and All Over collided soon after the start. Zigstar and Be Two Bomber collided on the first turn checking Zigstar. Spokesman checked off Charleston on the first turn. Be Two Bomber, Big Barking Bert and Spokesman collided approaching the second turn severely checking Big Barking Bert and Spokesman. Be Two Bomber faltered entering the back straight and tailed off. Zigstar checked off Dynamic Punch on the home turn.
Spokesman was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Be Two Bomber was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tear to its right back muscle. A 30 day stand down period was imposed.
