My Regina and Become The Fuse collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Dr. Leonardo checked off Zulu Retreat approaching the first turn. Aston Dawn and My Regina collided on the first turn. Lee I Am and Ponting's Nail collided approaching the second turn checking Ponting's Nail. My Regina severely checked off Ponting's Nail approaching the second turn checking Become The Fuse. Become The Fuse galloped on the heels of Ponting's Nail entering the back straight checking both greyhounds. My Silver Chisel hit the running rail on the third turn. Dr. Leonardo and Aston Dawn collided on the third turn checking Dr. Leonardo, Aston Dawn and Lee I Am.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Santoro, regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Lee I Am. Stewards directed that Lee I Am be boxed first in future events.
My Silver Chisel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
