In Dee Gang was slow to begin. Violets For Suzy, Kinloch Stunna, Sweet Sambuca and Tally Ho Len collided soon after the start checking Violets For Suzy. In Dee Gang and Highfield La La collided approaching the first turn checking In Dee Gang. Tally Ho Len and Kinloch Stunna collided approaching the home turn checking Kinloch Stunna. Highfield La La checked off Sweet Sambuca approaching the home turn checking Violets For Suzy. Tally Ho Len and Kinloch Stunna collided entering the home straight. Kinloch Stunna marred the running of Tally Ho Len in the home straight.
Trainer, Ms. T. Collins, trainer of Kinloch Stunna declined to have her greyhound vetted.
Stewards spoke to Ms. T. Collins, trainer of the greyhound Kinloch Stunna regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Kinloch Stunna with marring. Ms. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge. Kinloch Stunna was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Violets For Suzy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
