A pre-race sample was taken from Exit Strategy.
Exit Strategy was quick to begin. Valoroso was slow to begin. Last Outlaw and Merinda Estella collided approaching the first turn. Umbreon Bale, Bingo Bubba and Exhibition collided approaching the first turn, checking Umbreon Bale and Bingo Bubba. Exit Strategy and Merinda Estella collided in the home straight. Crackerjack Glen raced wide in the home straight.
Valoroso was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both hips. a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
