Benny Boy Magic, Kev's Fantasy and Harry Cho were quick to begin.  Barb Allen and Ellie's Blue collided soon after the start.  Jai Jai Away and Ellie's Blue collided approaching the first turn.  Harry Cho, Benny Boy Magic and Kev's Fantasy collided on the first turn, checking Benny Boy Magic, Jai Jai Away and Ellie's Blue.  Harry Cho and Barb Allen collided approaching the home turn, checking Harry Cho.  Kev's Fantasy and Barb Allen collided on the home turn.  Jai Jai Away and Ellie's Blue collided in the home straight. Lochinvar Rox was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards issued a warning to Mr L Kenyon, the trainer of Lochinvar Rox regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Quick Paws Bolac was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both wrists.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

In A Rush was slow to begin.  Haywire Boy checked off Dani Bale soon after the start, checking Golden Delish.  Dani Bale, Swift Operator and Maximum Jarvis collided approaching the first turn.  Madre Miss, In A Rush, Star Douglas and Maximum Jarvis collided on the first turn.  Maximum Jarvis checked off In A Rush approaching the home turn and collided with Madre Miss, causing both Haywire Boy and Madre Miss to race wide on the home turn.

Mr A Mooney, trainer of Valoroso, declared a new weight of 31.5 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Valoroso last raced at 30.3 kgs.

Exit Strategy was quick to begin.  Valoroso was slow to begin.  Last Outlaw and Merinda Estella collided approaching the first turn.  Umbreon Bale, Bingo Bubba and Exhibition collided approaching the first turn, checking Umbreon Bale and Bingo Bubba.  Exit Strategy and Merinda Estella collided in the home straight.  Crackerjack Glen raced wide in the home straight.

Valoroso was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both hips. a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Monoak.

Whacker Fancy was quick to begin.  Opalia Bale was slow to begin.  Cosmic Fortune and Monoak collided soon after the start, checking Cosmic Fortune which collided with Barellen Genie, resulting in Barellen Genie stumbling.  Nitrolicious checked off the heels of Bumble Bee Bolto approaching the first turn.  Bekim's Elite and Monoak collided on the first turn, checking Bekim's Elite.  Nitrolicious commenced to lose ground approaching the home turn and collided with Cosmic Fortune.  Nitrolicious and Barellen Genie collided on the home turn, checking Nitrolicious. .  

Nitrolicious was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both hips, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Barellen Genie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right hindleg metatarsal.  No stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Lireva trialled over the 460m from box eight, weight 28.0 kgs, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four.  The time of the trial was 26.13, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25 lengths.  Lireva was Ceared.
