Sneak Preview was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left foreleg stopper and left/right foreleg muscle injuries, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Martinovic, the trainer of the greyhound Sneak Preview, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Sneak Preview with marring.  Mr Martinovic pleaded guilty to the charge, Sneak Preview was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

It Is Done was very slow to begin (3L).  Ellie's Blue, Eranna Bale and Maximum Jarvis were slow to begin.  Oemi Allen checked off Cairnlea Nancy approaching the first turn.  Cairnlea Nancy checked off Shady Apple on the first turn.  Oemi Allen and Eranna Bale collided on the first turn.  Cairnlea Nancy, Maximum Jarvis and It Is Done collided on the home turn.  Eranna Bale and Crazy Jo Jo collided in the home straight.  Shady Apple checked off Eranna Bale approaching the winning post.

Crackerjack Ken, Sisco General and Supreme Prince collided soon after the start.  Supreme Prince galloped on Alpha Castor approaching the first turn, severely checking Supreme Prince and causing Supreme Prince to stumble.  Night Hawk and Alpha Castor collided on the first turn, checking Alpha Castor.  Night Hawk and Sisco General collided on the first turn.  Lireva and Meehan Roy collided in the home straight.
