Steward's Report
Last Angel and Two Toes Tony were slow to begin. Sneak Preview, In A Rush and Unmid Bale collided soon after the start. Sneak Preview checked off In A Rush approaching the first turn. Sneak Preview checked off Last Angel approaching the first turn. In A Rush, Allen Kev, Last Angel and Nitrolicious collided on the first turn, causing In A Rush to brush the running rail. Sneak Preview checked off Last Angel on the first turn. Last Angel crossed to the outside approaching the home turn colliding with Sneak Preview. Sneak Preview marred Last Angel in the home straight. In A Rush checked off Two Toes Tony in the home straight. Sneak Preview and Last Angel collided approaching the winning post.

Sneak Preview was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left foreleg stopper and left/right foreleg muscle injuries, a five day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Martinovic, the trainer of the greyhound Sneak Preview, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Sneak Preview with marring. Mr Martinovic pleaded guilty to the charge, Sneak Preview was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
