Macey Blue was vetted prior to the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found and the greyhound was passed fit to race.
A pre race sample was taken from Cosmic Shiraz.
Come On Lassy and Dr. Phil were slow to begin. Cosmic Shiraz checked off Mystic Quality on the first turn. Come On Lassy and Macey Blue collided on the first turn, checking Come On Lassy. Wisen Up and Really Magic collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Dr. Phil and Really Magic. Wisen Up raced wide in the home straight.
Dr. Phil was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind leg and right side of the neck, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Really Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle and an abrasion to the left calf, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Da Mishka trialled over the 311m from box one, weight 33.1kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 17.97, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.75 lengths. Da Mishka was Cleared.
