Just Like Jetta and Hurricane Yella were slow to begin.
Razor Hawk and Get Me collided soon after the start checking Razor Hawk. Max McGuiness, Tubesman, Get Me and Lightning Shadow collided approaching the first turn. Tubesman, Get Me, Lightning Shadow and Razor Hawk collided on the first turn checking Lightning Shadow and Get Me. Tubesman and Razor Hawk collided approaching the home turn severely checking Razor Hawk. Razor Hawk and Get Me collided approaching the home turn, on the home turn and several times in the home straight severeky checking both greyhounds.
Razor Hawk was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Get Me was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps, the right thigh and the right chest muscles. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
