Paddy's Junior and Rockafella collided soon after the start. Perfect Madison stumbled soon after the start. Slither and Deadly Boy collided approaching the first turn. Perfect Madison, Paddy's Junior, Deadly Boy and Slither collided on the first turn, checking Perfect Madison and severely checking Deadly Boy, Paddy's Junior and Slither. Rockafella and Carryon Earning collided on the home turn. Deadly Boy and Paddy's Junior collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Deadly Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Paddy's Junior was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right tricep. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
