Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Atlas Profit.
Jimmy's House and Keltic Riddle collided soon after the start checking Jimmy's House. Atlas Profit checked off Lizooka approaching the first turn checking Mini Mitch. Lizooka galloped on the heels of Carol Beer on the first turn checking Atlas Profit and severely checking Lizooka, Carol Beer, Keltic Riddle and Kifinti. Keltic Riddle and Kifinti collided several times approaching the home turn. Jimmy's House and Miss Harmony collided approaching the home turn. Keltic Riddle checked off Kifinti on the home turn checking Keltic Riddle which raced wide as a result. Atlas Profit raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards noted that the bandage from the greyhound Jimmy's House became dislodged in the home straight.
Keltic Riddle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Kifinti was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the front right foot and the back left foot. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to catcher Ms. R. New in regards to her failure to catch the greyhound Miss Harmony and issued her with a warning.
