Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Smashing Turbo.
Nat's Joy crossed to the rail approaching the firs tturn checking Apatchy Bro, Piper's Pick and Elite Octare and severely checking Smashing Turbo and Apache Dancer, Apache Dancer fell as a result. Apatchy Bro and Crystal Springs collided on the first turn. Elite Octare and Piper's Pick collided approaching the home turn.
Apache Dancer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right coupling. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Smashing Turbo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
