Steward's Report
Diane's Lass was slow to begin.
Arm Bar Rousey and Direct Current collided soon after the start checking Direct Current. Pogo Pogo and Cally's Alone collided approaching the first turn. Diane's Lass and Hit Pay Dirt collided approaching the first turn checking Diane's Lass. Cally's Alone checked off Arm Bar Rousey on the first turn checking Cally's Alone and Direct Current. Silent Showman and Explosive Lass collided on the home turn. Silent Showman, Explosive Lass, Pogo Pogo and Arm Bar Rousey collided entering the home straight checking all four greyhounds. Silent Showman eased in the home straight and collided with Explosive Lass and Pogo Pogo. Silent Showman and Explosive Lass collided in the home straight.
Silent Showman was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Mr. T. Comensoli, handler of the greyhound, declined to have the greyhound revetted. Acting under GAR(1)(b) stewards charged Silent Showman with failing to pursue the lure with due commintment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days (Ballarat) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
