Mister Shifty was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Black Eyed Papa went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Sisco Fury and Stetson Dixie collided soon after the start.

Corrine Corrina and Shot To Bits were slow to begin.  Sisco Rage and Jimmy On Rocks went up with the lids at box rise and were slow to begin.  Sisco Rage and Shot To Bits collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Our Fancy Lady and Shot To Bits collided approaching the first turn.  Corrine Corrina, Our Fancy Lady, Sisco Rage and Shot To Bits collided on the first turn, checking Our Fancy Lady and Shot To Bits.  Jimmy On Rocks checked off Our Fancy Lady on the second turn.  Corrine Corrina checked off Mr. Tee on the third turn, severely checking Corrine Corrina and Shot To Bits and Shot To Bits fell as a result. 

Shot To Bits was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left scapula.  A 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Fowler, the trainer of Sahara and reminded him of his requirements to ensure the greyhound is boxed in a timely manner.

Wise Ella was quick to begin.  Our Spotty, Stetson Laneybug and Sisco Good were slow to begin.  Stetson Laneybug and Sisco Good collided soon after the start, checking Stetson Laneybug.  Our Spotty and Ghost Roaster collided soon after the start.  Our Spotty checked off Ghost Roaster on the first turn.  Stetson Laneybug and Guest A Mate raced wide on the first turn.  Our Spotty and House Gem collided on the third turn.  Our Spotty and Ghost Roaster collided approaching the home turn.

Ima Legend was slow to begin.  Fantastic Barb, Magic Matese, Hot Thomeli and Call Me Scary collided approaching the first turn, checking Classic Cash.  Fantastic Barb, Magic Matese and Golden Meleni collided on the first turn, checking Classic Cash and Golden Meleni and severely checking Ima Legend, Hot Thomeli and Call Me Scary.  Classic Cash checked off Golden Meleni on the second turn.  Hot Thomeli and Classic Cash collided approaching the home turn.

Menin Road and Butterfly Bling were slow to begin.  Tarks Jewel, Menin Road, Javaica and Butterfly Bling collided soon after the start.  Sonic Missile and Barney's Buddy collided on the first turn.  Tarks Jewel galloped on the heels of Barney's Buddy approaching the second turn, checking both greyhounds.  Butterfly Bling and Barney's Buddy collided in the back straight.  Wy Gunya compounded over the concluding stages of the event.

Menin Road was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left gracilis.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Wy Gunya was vetted and re-vetted following race 9.   It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triangle and right biceps.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr R Britton, the trainer of the greyhound Wy Gunya.  Stewards deemed the performance of Wy Gunya unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Wy Gunya must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Classy Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left metatarsals, right hamstring and right hind toes.  No stand down period was imposed.
