Smart Maxwell was a late scratching at 6:33pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an elevated temperature. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Lukey Deez was slow to begin. Dyna Suzie crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Mad Star. Lektra Bianca and Mel Allen collided approaching the first turn. Mel Allen and Miss Ronny collided on the first turn. Lukey Deez checked off Mel Allen approaching the second turn. Mad Star checked off Mel Allen entering the back straight. Mad Star and Lukey Deez collided in the back straight. Lektra Bianca and Lukey Deez collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
