Steward's Report
Uncle Skeeta was slow to begin.
Dylis Bale and Bran Nue Dae collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Winslow Warrior and Yoshi collided approaching the first turn. Herodium, Special Times and Pure Chief collided approaching the first turn checking Special Times and severely Dylis Bale which stumbled and tailed off as a result. Winslow Warrior and Yoshi collided on the first turn. Bran Nue Dae raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Uncle Skeeta and Winslow Warrior collided approaching the winning post.
Dylis Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and the right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to L. Cookson, the handler of Special TImes regarding the greyhound's box manners.
