Paddy's Roma was slow to begin. Jack's Brutus went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin as a result.
Ten To Midnight and Slow White collided soon after the start checking Ten To Midnight. Paddy's Roma and Crymelon Gold collided approaching the first turn. Lightning Tess checked off Rockafella on the first turn. Ten To Midnight, Paddy's Roma and Crymelon Gold collided on the first turn checking Paddy's Roma, Crymelon Gold and Jack's Brutus. Lightning Tess and Slow White collided on the home turn. Rockafella and Lightning Tess collided in the home straight.
Crymelon Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
