Steward's Report
Kenilworth Road, Satin Ice and Spare Parts were slow to begin. Gwen's Pick, Satin Ice and Spare Parts collided soon after the start checking Satin Ice and Spare Parts. Spare Parts, Calm Bliss and She's A Freebie collided approaching the first turn checking Calm Bliss. Gwen's Pick checked off Melos Girlfriend on the first turn. She's A Freebie checked off Gwen's Pick on the first turn. Gwen's Pick checked off Spare Parts approaching the home turn. Kenilworth Road and Calm Bliss collided on the home turn causing both greyhounds to race wide. Calm Bliss and She's A Freebie raced wide in the home straight.
Kenilworth Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
