Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr R.Chivell, the trainer of Derail regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Derail last raced on 7th May 2015. Mr.Chivell stated that Derail was resuming from a shoulder injury.
Midori Miss, Latte Donny and Derail were slow to begin. Swazza's Rocket and No Reply collided soon after the start checking Swazza's Rocket. Latte Donny and Derail collided approaching the first turn checking Derail. Kolora Tess, Midori Miss, Queen Elsa and Charlton Charger collided on the first turn checking Queen Elsa. Latte Donny galloped on the heels of Queen Elsa on the first turn checking Queen Elsa and Derail. Charlton Charger checked off No Reply approaching the home turn. Kolora Tess and Charlton Charger collided in the home straight.
Queen Elsa was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
