Darkest Beauty and Creative Cruise were quick to begin.  Runnin' Star, Cash Ownley and Cosmic Collinda collided soon after the start checking King Farouk and Cosmic Collinda.  King Farouk and Cosmic Collinda collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Darkest Beauty and Creative Cruise collided approaching the first turn checking Darkest Beauty, Creative Cruise and Perfect Metre.  Darkest Beauty and Cash Ownley collided on the first turn checking Runnin' Star.  Darkest Beauty, Cash Ownley and Runnin' Star collided on the home turn checking Cash Ownley and Runnin' Star.  King Farouk marred Cash Ownley on the home turn.  Zipping Dee and Perfect Metre collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  King Farouk marred Cash Ownley in the home straight.

King Farouk was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Karabitsakos the trainer of the greyhound King Farouk regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged King Farouk with marring.  Mr. Karabitsakos pleaded not guilty to the charge, King Farouk was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shanlyn Hoss was slow to begin.  Maleune, Miss Money May and Zipping Laura collided soon after the start checking Zipping Laura.  Bare Bones and Shanlyn Hoss collided soon after the start checking Shanlyn Hoss.  Dundee Raptor, Maleune, Miss Money May, Zipping Laura, Captain Tuttle, Bare Bones and Shanlyn Hoss collided approaching the first turn checking Maleune and Captain Tuttle.  Maleune, Captain Tuttle and Shanlyn Hoss collided on the first turn checking Maleune and Captain Tuttle.  Dundee Raptor and Dr. Nicholas collided on the first turn checking Shanlyn Hoss and severely checking Dundee Raptor, Captain Tuttle and Dr. Nicholas, Dundee Raptor fell as a result.  Maleune was checked off Shanlyn Hoss approaching the home turn.

Dr. Nicholas was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Captain Tuttle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dundee Raptor was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Rack Tap Rack, She's A Collinda and Zipping Tazz collided approaching the first turn checking Rack Tap Rack and She's A Collinda.  She's A Collinda was checked off Zipping Kane on the first turn.  Cleo's Boy was checked off Zipping Tazz approaching the home turn.  Cleo's Boy was checked off Zipping Tazz on the home turn.  Zipping Kane and Chuck's Me Boy collided in the home straight.  Zipping Kane and Chuck's Me Boy raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards issued a warning to Ms. C. Jones trainer of Zipping Kane regarding her failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.  Stewards noted Ms. Jones was also late to retrieve her greyhound from race 2.  As this matter had not been dealt with prior to this event no additional action was taken.  In making the decision Stewards considered that Ms. Jones had no previous offences relating to this matter.

Amlin Mystique was a late scratching at 6.15pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr G Sneyders was fined the sum of $100.

Hot Patootie was quick to begin.  Nazareth Bale and Roxy's Pride collided soon after the start.  Dr. Des was checked off Surf Jester approaching the first turn.  Nazareth Bale and Surf Jester collided on the first turn.  Roxy's Pride and Jazzy Lou collided on the first turn.  Surf Jester crossed to the outside on the home turn.  Dr. Des and Hot Patootie collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr R Keating, the trainer of Burekup Jack regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Burekup Jack last raced on 18 June, 2015. Mr Keating stated that the greyhound had injured a back muscle at the previous start and following veterinary advice he had given the injury time to heal.

Mr S Ralph, the trainer of Zipping Simmo declared a new weight of 34.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Zipping Simmo last raced at 32.4kgs.

Zipping Simmo and Jules Norris were slow to begin.  Zipping Simmo and Burekup Jack collided soon after the start.  Zipping Simmo and Heston Lodge collided on the first turn checking Zipping Simmo.  Heston Lodge was checked off Jules Norris on the first turn.  Dr. Leonardo and Darcon Dash collided approaching the home turn checking Darcon Dash.  Heston Lodge raced wide on the home turn.  Darcon Dash and Jules Norris collided entering the home straight.  Burekup Jack and Dr. Leonardo collided in the home straight.

Dr. Ripped was slow to begin.  Tactical Miss was checked off Gaelic General approaching the first turn severely checking Cosmic Kade and Dr. Ripped.  Where's Milly was checked off Gaelic General on the first turn.  Buckle Up Vicki and Puzzle Gold collided approaching the home turn.  Gaelic General faltered approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground checking Buckle Up Vicki.  Cosmic Kade raced wide on the home turn.  Gaelic General and Dr. Ripped collided entering the home straight.  Buckle Up Vicki crossed to the outside in the home straight.

Gaelic General was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr K Podmore, the trainer of Tonto's Mate regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tonto's Jack last raced on 21 December, 2014. Mr Podmore stated that he is the new trainer and the greyhound had previously sustained a fractured metacarpal.

Tonto's Mate and Maverick Dusty were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Runnin' On Gas, Cool Ahmar, Price Tag and Get Up Alvin collided soon after the start checking Cool Ahmar.  Zenergy crossed to the rail approahcing the first turn checking Get Up Alvin and severely checking Runnin' On Gas and Cool Ahmar, Price Tag fell.
