Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Dynamite Dozer upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Here's The Trump and Don's Licker collided soon after the start. Cheetah Stealth, Logic Lad, Ashtastic and Dynamite Dozer collided at the 200 metre mark. Oscar and Here's The Trump collided at the 200 metre mark. Cheetah Stealth and Here's The Trump collided at the 150 metre mark. Cheetah Stealth and Oscar collided approaching the winning post.
Logic Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion and a spike wound to its left calf. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Currie, the trainer of Peggy Sable regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Peggy Sable last raced on 8th May 2016. Mr. Currie stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a front left foot injury, being on season and a change of kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A Peggy Sable trialled over the 300 metre distance from box 1, weight 25.6kgs. The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.28. The greyhound won by a margin of 0.75 lengths. Peggy Sable was cleared.
