Fabra Cadabra, My Alibi and Premier Jess were slow to begin.  Ends Well, Extra Kisses and Deep Court collided soon after the start.  Extra Kisses, Fabra Cadabra and My Alibi collided on the first turn checking My Alibi and severely checking Fabra Cadabra.  My Alibi was checked off Habana City approaching the home turn.  Habana City and My Alibi collided entering the home straight.  Ends Well eased in the home straight and collided with Deep Court.  Ends Well veered out and marred Deep Court approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Hill the trainer of the greyhound Ends Well regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Ends Well was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left and right chest, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Ends Well with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Mr. Hill pleaded not guilty to the charge, Ends Well was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bound For Alice was quick to begin.  Roller Bale and Wild Angel were slow to begin.  Bound For Alice was checked off Early Express on the first turn causing Bound For Alice to lose ground, Roger's Dreamin' and Roller Bale were checked as a result.  Bound For Alice was checked off Roger's Dreamin' approaching the home turn checking Roller Bale.  Roger's Dreamin' was checked off Early Express in the home straight.  Bound For Alice raced wide in the home straight.

Weekend In Paris was a late scratching at 6.10pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

My Waverly Queen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound stained a fractured radius/ulna, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Lachlan's Rough was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Vista King was slow to begin.  New Level and Paddy's Magic collided several times soon after the start.  Paddy's Magic and New Level collided approaching the first turn checking New Level and severley checking Vista King, Kiowa Jones and Nicky Dal were checked as a result.  Zipping Zeus was checked off Hercules Bale on the first turn.  New Level and Hercules Bale collided approaching the home turn checking New Level.  Nicky Dal raced wide in the home straight.

Our First Lady was quick to begin.  Dr. Gammiris and Super Sook were slow to begin.  Crash Zone crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Dr. Gammiris which subsequently collided with Zahra Bella and Red Cadillac.  Crash Zone and Red Cadillac collided on the first turn causing Red Cadillac to gallop on Our First Lady checking Red Cadillac, Choclotto and Crash Zone and severely checking Our First Lady.

Burnt Rubber was a late scratching at 12.18pm due to illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Righto Mitch was slow to begin.  Ginger Pieces and Jasocate collided on the first turn.  Henry Lee galloped on Neo Ha Ha on the first turn checking Jasocate and Miz Josie, Henry Lee and Neo Ha Ha fell as a result.  Righto Mitch eased on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Josocate raced wide in the home straight.

Neo Ha Ha was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Henry Lee was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Righto Mitch was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted after 40 minutes, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Winter the trainer of the greyhound Righto Mitch regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Righto Mitch with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Winter pleaded not guilty to the charge, Mighty Mitch was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
