Steward's Report
Fabra Cadabra, My Alibi and Premier Jess were slow to begin. Ends Well, Extra Kisses and Deep Court collided soon after the start. Extra Kisses, Fabra Cadabra and My Alibi collided on the first turn checking My Alibi and severely checking Fabra Cadabra. My Alibi was checked off Habana City approaching the home turn. Habana City and My Alibi collided entering the home straight. Ends Well eased in the home straight and collided with Deep Court. Ends Well veered out and marred Deep Court approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Hill the trainer of the greyhound Ends Well regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Ends Well was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left and right chest, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Ends Well with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Mr. Hill pleaded not guilty to the charge, Ends Well was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
