Steward's Report
Marley Sprite was quick to begin. Hardaway Terror was slow to begin. Trov's Gem checked off Sundance Lad approaching the first turn. Ivy Lane and Sundance Lad collided approaching the home turn severley checking Ivy Lane which fell as a result. Trov's Gem checked off Scoop Jackson on the home turn. Trov's Gem, Scoop Jackson and Hardaway Terror collided in the home straight.
Ivy Lane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind foot. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
A sample was taken from Marley Sprite, winner of the event.
Meeting Comments:
Bomber Lane which left track prior to being vetted yesterday at The Meadows was vetted prior to kennelling today. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr. Carter and reiterated GAR 42(2) in that he must have authorisation from Stewards before leaving the course.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Sisco Pure trialled over the 390mts from box 1, weight 30.3kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.64, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.75L. Sisco Pure was Cleared.
