Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Donaldson, the trainer of San Tan Bonnie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. San Tan Bonnie last raced on 16th of June, 2016. Mr. Donaldson stated that San Tan Bonnie is returning to racing after being on season.

Rag Poet was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right elbow injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

San Tan Bonnie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind foot. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Winlock Stanley was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind foot. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Heartbreak Hotel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprained wrist. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. T. Mitchell, the trainer of Heartbreak Hotel regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Gold Compass and Gunmetal Diva were quick to begin. Midnight Flynn checked off Belron Gus soon after the start. Meeting Comments:

Bomber Lane which left track prior to being vetted yesterday at The Meadows was vetted prior to kennelling today. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr. Carter and reiterated GAR 42(2) in that he must have authorisation from Stewards before leaving the course. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Sisco Pure trialled over the 390mts from box 1, weight 30.3kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.64, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.75L. Sisco Pure was Cleared.
