Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from White Bandit.
White Bandit and Sarah Swift were quick to begin. Seabrook Sam and Aeroplane Tommy were slow to begin.
Lochinvar Kors and Coalville Tiger collided soon after the start. Lochinvar Kors, Coalville Tiger, Mumma Josie and Sarah Swift collided approaching the first turn checking Lochinvar Kors and Coalville Tiger. Seabrook Sam galloped on Princess Pout approaching the first turn checking Princes Pout and Seabrook Sam. White Bandit, Princess Pout and Coalville Tiger collided on the first turn checking Coalville Tiger and causing Seabrook Sam and Aeroplane Tommy to collided, checking Seabrook Sam and Aeroplane Tommy with Seabrook Sam losing ground as a result. Lochinvar Kors raced wide approaching the second turn checking Coalville Tiger. Coalville Tiger and Aeroplane Tommy collided approaching the second turn cheeking Aeroplane Tommy and causing Coalville Tiger to fall. White Bandit checked off Mumma Josie on the second turn severely checking Princess Pout. Aeroplane Tommy checked off Seabrook Sam on the third turn.
Coalville Tiger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained neck soreness and a left stopper lacertaion, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Samples were taken from Sarah Swift - winner of the event and Aeroplane Tommy - unplaced in the event.
