Arcup Archer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh and left saddle.  A three day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr C Colaiacovo, the trainer of the greyhound Uberto regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Uberto was vetted and revetted following event three.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the upper back, left shoulder, left medial thigh and right fibula, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Uberto with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr A Colaiacovo pleaded guilty to the charge, Uberto was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sparkletini was slow to begin.  Xavier Bright and Classy Arrow collided soon after the start, checking Xavier Bright which stumbled as a result.  Gwen's Pick and Surely Not Me collided soon after the start, checking Gwen's Pick.  Classy Arrow checked off Surely Not Me approaching the first turn.  Six Thirty News and Surely Not Me collided on the first turn, checking Surely Not Me.  Xavier Bright and Classy Arrow collided approaching the home turn.  Surely Not Me eased approaching the home turn and pulled up.  Six Thirty New and Sparkletini collided on the home turn.  Classy Arrow checked off Six Thirty New in the home straight.
