Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Toth, the trainer of Plaza Boy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Plaza Boy last raced on 22nd February 2015.  Mr. Toth stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of trainer and a metacarpal injury.

Scarlet Black and Why Not Barrel were slow to begin.  Willowvale Pearl checked off Plaza Boy on the first turn severely checking Willowvale Pearl, Scarlet Black and Why Not Barrel; Why Not Barrel contacted the outside fence as a result.

Scarlet Black was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right triangle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Willowvale Pearl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Why Not Barrel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to all its feet.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ravenwood was slow to begin.  Good Odds Sammy and Groover Groover collided approaching the first turn.  Ringo Dingo and Marmion Star collided approaching the first turn.  Good Odds Sammy checked off Groover Groover on the first turn.  Good Odds Sammy and Ravenwood collided entering the home straight.

Dick Dastardly was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained and injury to its left thigh.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Knocker, the handler of Intrepid Voyager regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Intrepid Voyager last raced on 22nd February 2015.  Mr. Knocker stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a broken hock injury.

Darbain Dasher and Cruiser's Sol collided soon after the start.  Full On Bling and Cruiser's Sol collided approaching the first turn checking Full On Bling.  Someday Lady and Tekki Minx collided approaching the second turn.  Full On Bling and Tekki Minx collided in the back straight. Full on Bling checked off Someday Lady  on the third turn. Willowvale Black checked off Beyond Rapid on the third turn.

Yoko was slow to begin.  Enchanted Lass checked off Mighty Sprite on the first turn.  Little Sport checked off Kynan's Magic on the first turn.

Corrine was quick to begin.  High Commando was slow to begin.  Wia Good and Samsara Lass collided approaching the first turn severely checking Wia Good.  Booma Mikado and Samsara Lass collided on the first turn checking Booma Mikado and Wia Good.  Samsara Lass and Corrine collided on the first turn checking Samsara Lass.  Why Not Logan and Hugh Made Who collided approaching the home turn severely checking Samsara Lass and Corrine.  Booma Mikado, High Commando, Corrine and Assertive Seer collided approaching the home turn severely checking Booma Mikado and Samsara Lass and causing Assertive Seer to fall.

Samsara Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its left hind leg.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Assertive Seer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right front toe and right shoulder.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Sonic Fear, Jazz Apple, Sheza Gym Junky, Diligent Miss and Logic Lad were slow to begin.  Jazz Apple checked off Princess Gemini on the first turn checking Logic Lad, Sheza Gym Junky and Sonic Fear.  Sonic Fear and Fairy Tiger collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Brew, the trainer of Vanderyaba regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Vanderyaba last raced on 12th January 2015.  Mr. Brew stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season and a back muscle injury.

Mr. K. Brew, trainer of Vanderyaba declared a new weight of 23.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Vanderyaba last raced at 25.4kgs.

Izumi and Maybe Vegas were slow to begin.  Izumi checked off Renee Boucheau on the first turn checking Maybe Vegas.  Vanderyaba and Galloping Hope collided on the first turn checking Explosive Lass.  Vanderyaba checked off Renee Boucheau approaching the home turn checking Izumi.
