Steward's Report
Somebody's Image and Fantastic Nikita was slow to begin. Snow Good and Useful collided soon after the start. Aston Force, Dream Dazzler and Shiny Ice collided on the first turn, checking Dream Dazzler, Shiny Ice, Useful and Fantastic Nikita. Rack Tap Rack brushed the running rail approaching the second turn. Shiny Ice and Fantastic Nikita collided on the second turn. Aston Force checked off Snow Good entering the back straight. Snow Good marred the running of Rack Tap Rack in the home straight, checking Rack Tap Rack.
Snow Good was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder muscle, a fourteen day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Brown, the handler of the greyhound Snow Good regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight . Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Snow Good with marring. Mr. Brown pleaded not guilty to the charge, Snow Good was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.
