Due to internet issues kennelling closed approximately 8 minutes behind schedule. 

Routine Advice, Back Slapper and Dream Of Success were slow to begin. Routine Advice checked off Kemosabe soon after the start. Destini Firebird and Dream Of Success collided on the first turn. Nebraska Allen and Destini Scorcher collided on the first turn. Kemosabe and Back Slapper collided on the first turn. Nebraska Allen and Destini Scorcher collided entering the back straight, checking Destini Scorcher. Routine Advice checked off Dream Of Success in the home straight, checking Dream Of Success. 

A sample was taken from Cosmic Noodle - the winner of the event. 

Destini Scorcher was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder and tricep muscle, a twenty-one day stand down period was imposed. 

Aston Cyus and Shanlyn Hoss collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Moonlit Eyes checked off Lopsided approaching the first turn. Snow Matter and Why Not Sue collided on the first turn, checking Snow Matter. Aston Cyus and Shanlyn Hoss collided on the first turn, checking Shanlyn Hoss, Lopsided and Destini Inferno. Aston Cyus and Shanlyn Hoss collided on the second turn and entering the back straight, checking Aston Cyus.

A pre-race was taken from Zipping Please. 

Destini Inferno was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Chapman, the handler of the greyhound Destini Inferno, and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. 

Zall Good was quick to begin. Bubble Head and Fanciful Indie were slow to begin. Ladies Kay, Alpha Nemesis and Aston Shiraz collided soon after the start. Destini Wildfire and Dream Edition collided soon after the start. Zall Good checked off Dream Edition approaching the first turn. Fanciful Indie checked off Ladies Kay on the first turn. Fanciful Indie and Ladies Kay collided in the back straight. 

Alpha Nemesis was vetted and revetted following event nine. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Britton, trainer of Alpha Nemesis regarding the greyhounds performance in today's event. Mr. Britton could offer no tangible explanation regarding its performance. 

Somebody's Image and Fantastic Nikita was slow to begin. Snow Good and Useful collided soon after the start. Aston Force, Dream Dazzler and Shiny Ice collided on the first turn, checking Dream Dazzler, Shiny Ice, Useful and Fantastic Nikita. Rack Tap Rack brushed the running rail approaching the second turn. Shiny Ice and Fantastic Nikita collided on the second turn. Aston Force checked off Snow Good entering the back straight. Snow Good marred the running of Rack Tap Rack in the home straight, checking Rack Tap Rack. 

Snow Good was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder muscle, a fourteen day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Brown, the handler of the greyhound Snow Good regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight . Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Snow Good with marring.  Mr. Brown pleaded not guilty to the charge, Snow Good was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Link was slow to begin. Allen Kentucky and Diegonator collided approaching the first turn. Pirlo, Diegonator and Coffee Elizabeth collided on the first turn, severely checking all three greyhounds. Zipping Link and Rise Above It collided on the second turn, checking Rise Above It. Allen Kentucky checked off Rise Abive It on the second turn. 

Diegonator was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Charlie Pearce engaged in this event on 16 September 2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Black Driftwood was quick to begin. Bebe and Charlie Pearce was slow to begin. Proven Scary, Blingified and Twist Of Thunder collided soon after the start, checking Twist Of Thunder. Bebe and Twist Of Thunder collided on the first turn. Blingified and Proven Scary collided on the first turn, checking Proven Scary. Charlie Pearce checked off Proven Scary on the first turn. Twist Of Thunder and Charlie Pearce collided on the third turn. Bebe and Charlie Pearce collided on the home turn. 

Lord Kitchener and Sugar Hit Sambia were slow to begin. Kaitoke Diamond, Too Sick, Lemon Patchwork, Jayco Bale and Zarko's Dream collided on the first turn, checking Jayco Bale and Zarko's Dream, and severely checking Lemon Patchwork; causing Too Sick to fall and Sugar Hit Sambia to race wide. Lord Kitchener and Zarko's Dream collided on the second turn. Kaitoke Diamond and Jayco Bale collided on the home turn. Sugar Hit Sambia eased and pulled up on the home turn. 

Too Sick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed. 

Sugar Hit Sambia was vetted and revetted following event eleven. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Romagnino, the trainer of the greyhound Sugar Hit Sambia regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Sugar Hit Sambia with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Romagnino pleaded guilty to the charge, Sugar Hit Sambia was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Tank was slow to begin. Hanging In There and Peggy Sable collided soon after the start. Neurological checked off Mepunga Armagh on the first turn. 

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Kraken Nitro engaged in this event on 16 September 2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Emmett Ryker was slow to begin. Cro Cop and Arejay Belle collided soon after the start. Cro Cop and Zipping Tazz collided approaching the first turn. Cro Cop checked off Zipping Tazz on the first turn. Kraken Nitro, Arejay Belle, Cro Cop and Bruzzy Boucheau collided on the first turn, severely checking Kraken Nitro, Bruzzy Boucheau and Arejay Belle; causing all three greyhounds to lose considerable ground. 

Kraken Nitro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lameness to the front right region, a twenty-eight day stand down period was imposed. 

Arejay Belle was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Buckle Up Axel and Arvo's Violet were slow to begin. Buckle Up Axel and Arvo's Violet collided soon after the start. Jane Eliza checked off Our Murray Grey entering the back straight. Buckle Up Axel checked off Uno Whirl approaching the home turn, checking Arvo's Violet. Jane Eliza and Buckle Up Axel collided on the home turn. 

Mr. T. O'Donovan, trainer of Chucka Bone declared a new weight of 35.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Chucka Bone last raced at 34.1kg.

Don Fire was slow to begin. Inter Carmella and Chucka Bone collided soon after the start, checking Chucka Bone. Sir Pendelbury and Podium Chance collided on the first turn. Inter Carmella checked off Arvo's joy approaching the home turn. 

Allen Casper was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

The following Speed Star Trials were conducted today:

Fever Pitch trialled over the 515m from box 3, weight 35.2kg. The time of the trial was 29.406.

Weston East trialled over the 515m from box 3, weight 32.5kg. The time of the trial was 29.576. 

Kayda Shae trialled over the 515m from box 1. weight 34.1kg. The time of the trial was 29.126. A sample was taken from Kayda Shae. 

What's Chewing trialled over the 515m from box 1, weight. 36.1kg. The time of the trial was 29.344. A sample was taken from What's Chewing

Texas Titan trialled over the 515m from box 3, weight 34.0kg. The time of the trial was 29.187. A sample was taken from Texas Titan.

Smart Missile trialled over the 515m from box 3, weight 36.5kg. The time of the trial was 29.080. A sample was taken from Smart Missile.

Stewards conducted a box draw for the Speed Star with the final to be held on the 24th of September 2015. The official box draw is as follows:
