A pre race sample was taken from Aston Dettori.
Suspicious Sam turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in this event. Miss Cassidy was slow to begin. Miss Cassidy, Forever Vain and Rioli's Show collided approaching the first turn checking Rioli's Show. Sketchy Max and Aston Dettori collided approaching the first turn. Forever Vain galloped on the heels of Mum Said No severely checking Mum Said No and causing Forever Vain to fall. Miss Cassidy raced wide on the home turn.
Miss Cassidy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Suspicious Sam was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right stifle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Mum Said No was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Forever Vain was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards established that Suspicious Sam turned in the boxes. Acting under GAR 52(1) Suspicious Sam was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).
Stewards spoke to Mr P. Tanti regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Rioli's Show. Stewards directed that Rioli's Show be boxed first in future events.
