Audacious Poppy and Bella Ha Ha collided on the first turn.  Lightning Lil raced wide on the first turn.  Akina Dee Jay and Tito Mojito collided approaching the second turn.  Akina Dee Jay crossed out approaching the second turn checking Tito Mojito and Bella Ha Ha.  Audacious Poppy and Bella Ha Ha collided on the third turn checking Audacious Poppy.  Audacious Poppy and Lightning Lil collided approaching the winning post.

Roll 'Em Missy was quick to begin.  Willowvale Wings and Avator Thor were slow to begin.  Roll 'Em Missy, Heard It Before, Avator Thor and Saturday Sip collided on the first turn checking Roll 'Em Missy, Avatar Thor, Saturday Sip and Johnny Mobster.  Johnny Mobster and Willowvale Wings collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds; Johnny Mobster faltered as a result and subsequently tailed off. 

Johnny Mobster was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Revision and Veetee Swift were quick to begin.  Beyond Galaxia and Zipping Scarlett were slow to begin.  Zipping Scarlett and Angie Rocks collided approaching the first turn.  Beyond Galaxia contacted the running rail on the first turn and collided with Bring Sexy Back; Beyond Galaxia raced wide as a result checking Zipping Scarlett and Angie Rocks and severely checking Zipping Scarlett causing Angie Rocks to fall.  Burekup Jack raced wide on the second turn.

Angie Rocks was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Audacious Angel was quick to begin.  Kayo King was slow to begin.  Audacious Angel crossed in soon after the start checking Bebington.  Avatar Hunter crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Barney Boloney and Bro Sam's Hook and severely checking Bebington.  Ablazin Mikado and Audacious Angel collided on the first turn.  Bro Sam's Hook checked off Barney Boloney approaching the second turn.  Bebington faltered on the second turn.  Barney Boloney checked off Kayo King entering the back straight.  Bebington faltered on the third turn and raced wide.

Bebington was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

My Names Rhonda and Catalan Flyer were quick to begin.  About To Cry and Summer Kate were slow to begin.  Summer Kate checked off About To Cry soon after the start.  Milly's Way and Catalan Flyer collided on the first turn and again entering the back straight checking Milly's Way and severely checking Catalan Flyer;  Summer Kate and Say Nothing were checked as a result.  Milly's Way raced wide on the second turn checking Black Train.  Say Nothing and Catalan Flyer collided approaching the home turn.  My Names Rhonda and Emilia Cash collided on the home turn severely checking My Names Rhonda which stumbled.  Summer Kate raced wide on the home turn.  Milly's Way raced wide entering the home straight.

Aston Regas was quick to begin.  Bandit's Girls, Elswyk Max and Lethal Spider were slow to begin.  Lethal Spider checked off Dr. Toretto on the first turn.  Bandit's Girls checked off Foxy Gems on the first turn severely checking Elswyk Max and Dr. Toretto.  Foxy Gems and All About Arby collided on the second turn.  Bandit's Girls and All About Arby collided in the home straight. 

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results:- Stewards spoke to Mr. D. McKenzie, the handler of Top Chic regarding the length of time since the greyhound last competed.  Top Chic last competed on 1st February 2016.  Mr. McKenzie stated that the greyhound was returning to race after whelping.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Top Chic trialled over 315m from box 1, weight 29.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 18:52, the greyhound won by a margain of 1.25 lengths. Top Chic was Cleared.
