Steward's Report
This event was rescheduled to 6.34pm after there was a problem with the tractor preparing the track.
Loyal Miss, Slog Sweep and Born Molly were quick to begin. Simple and Johnny Wolf were slow to begin.
Simple and Gats Caviar collided soon after the start. Righto Mitch checked off Loyal Miss on the first turn. Righto Mitch and Slog Sweep collided on the first turn checking Slog Sweep. Slog Sweep and Johnny Wolf collided on the home turn. Gats Caviar and Johnny Wolf collided on the home turn. Slog Sweep, Gats Caviar and Johnny Wolf collided in the home straight. Gats Caviar marred Johnny Wolf in the home straight. Gats Caviar collided with Loyal Miss in the home straight checking Loyal Miss.
Gats Caviar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Condon, the trainer of the greyhound Gats Caviar regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Gat Caviar with marring. Mr G. Condon pleaded not guilty to the charge, Gat Caviar was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traraglon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
