Aston Ah Chee was quick to begin. Xavi was slow to begin. Vista King, Bella Express, Amigo and Annabelle's Boy collided soon after the start checking Bella Express and Amigo. Vista King and Annabelle's Boy collided approaching the first turn checking Vista King. Xavi and Bomber Lane collided on the first turn checking Bomber Lane. Vista King and Amigo collided on the first turn. Annabelle's Boy galloped on the heels of Bomber Lane on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Xavi and Aston Ah Chee collided several times approaching the home turn checking Xavi and Bomber Lane on the home turn. Vista King checked off Amigo on the home turn. Annabelle's Boy crossed to the rail in the home straight and collided with Bomber Lane and Amigo.
