Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Tiger Dusty upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling. A pre-race sample was subsequently obtained.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dee Jay Dancer.
Cosmic Odette and Good Girl Sandy were quick to begin. Tiger Dusty was slow to begin. Orataya, Dee Jay Dancer and Mister Heeney collided soon after the start. Mister Heeney crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Dee Jay Dancer, Orataya and Tiger Dusty. Tiger Dusty checked off Dee Jay Dancer on the first turn and stumbled as a result. Mister Heeney checked off Aston Emilio approaching the home turn. Orataya raced wide on the home turn.
Orataya was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its right front foot. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Cosmic Odette, the winner of the event.
