Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Bumpstead, trainer of the greyhound Taz's Man which had not raced since 9 June 2016. Mr Bumpstead stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after recovering from a fractured hock.
The start of this race was delayed 1 minute to allow the taping on Taz's Man to be reapplied.
A pre race sample was taken from Iron Side.
Bekele and Red Tone collided soon after the start. Altesse checked off Zipping Faith approaching the first turn. Iron Side and Taz's Man collided approaching the first turn. Lady Capulet, Bekele, Seabrook Oscar and Red Tone collided on the first turn checking Lady Capulet, Bekele and Altesse. Seabrook Oscar and Red Tone collided approaching the home turn. Taz's Man galloped on the heels of Iron Side approaching the home turn. Red Tone and Lady Capulet collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Taz's Man galloped on the heels of Bekele in the home straight checking Bekele. Red Tone and Lady Capulet collided approaching the winning post.
