A pre-race sample was taken from Customized upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Blue Not Black.
Bob's Gift was quick to begin. Gotta Permit and Blue Not Black collided soon after the start. Snow Mistake, Crackerjack Andy and Gotta Permit collided approaching the first turn. Customized, Bob's Gift, Blue Not Black and Alira Kate collided on the first turn, severely checking Alira Kate and Blue Not Black, Jasocate fell as a result. Crackerjack Andy checked off Gotta Permit on the first turn.
Jasocate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right deltoid muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Bob's Gift - the winner of the event.
