Allen Patrick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

King Enright was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hahn Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind, no stand down period was imposed.

Live Wire was a late scratching at 6:08PM on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bet Bet Tahlia and Mepunga Marsha collided approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Marsha. Greysynd Rose checked off Anathema on the first turn. Magic Matese was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triceps, the left chest muscle and the right pencil muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Drago,  Zac Bale and Horsley Bale were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Zac Bale and Jimmy Two Hats collided on the first turn severely checking Jimmy Two Hats. Hurunui Hitman crossed to the rail approaching the home turn checking Horsley Bale, Searle Bale and Dyna Drago. Searle Bale and Dyna Drago collided approaching the home turn severley checking Searle Bale. Zac Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Acting on a confirmed telephone call from the trainer, Jimmy's House was a late scratching at 11:53AM due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rare Bear was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained sand burn to both hind muscles. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to handler D. Middlin regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Mahogany Royale. Stewards directed that Mahogany Royale be boxed first in future events.

Veetee Turbo was slow to begin.

Rouse Flyer, Groove Girl, Margherita, Mahogany Spirit and Camo's Lucky collided soon after the start checking Groove Girl. Camo's Lucky, Margherita and Allen Orville collided on the first turn. Groove Girl, Rouse Flyer and Allen Orville collided entering the back straight checking Allen Orville and Groove Girl. Allen Orville and Camo's Lucky collided on the second turn checking Camo's Lucky. Margherita and Rouse Flyer collided approaching the home turn checking Margherita.

Tashy Allen was a late scratching at 6:12PM by order of stewards. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke with T. Butt, trainer of Tashy Allen, regarding the circumstances pertaining to his failure to scratch the greyhound from tonight's meeting. Stewards charged T. Butt pursuant to GAR 86(o) for failing to scratch the greyhound, which in the opinion of stewards was negligent.

T. Butt pleaded guilty to the charge. T Butt was found guilty as charged and fined the sum of $200.

Lektra Candy was quick to begin.
