Kosi Can was a late scratching at 1:04PM due to illness (GAR 37). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Ellie Mac Lee was slow to begin.
Cosmic Jim and Hoofla collided approaching the first turn. Ellie Mac Lee, Loud One, Cosmic Jim, Hoofla and Blue Slugger collided approaching the first turn checking Loud One and Cosmic Jim and severely checking Ellie Mac Lee.
Loud One was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
