Tait Bale and Amy Special collided soon after the start. Besancion crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Slipaway Twister, Holly Kaye and Regal Sound. Tait Bale and Amy Special collided entering the back straight. Regal Sound, Slipaway Twister and Amy Special collided on the second turn. Besancion and Mid Air Crash collided on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds. Mid Air Crash, Besancion and Holly Kaye collided approaching the home turn severely checking Mid Air Crash, Besancion and Slipaway Twister.
Mid Air Crash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder and the left hind muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
